The Diaspora Women organisation is established to provide a platform for women with experience and opportunities or address the challenges faced by women leaving in the Diaspora and remigrating to Ghana.
The women in the diaspora have developed a web of social relations and formed the Diaspora women organisation to discuss issues affecting members new lives as they remigrate to Ghana . Most of the members have improved their entrepreneurial skills and become engaged in different business or charity activities to generate income to help support their families and to improve their living standards in the respective countries they migrated.
Many are also exposed to financial independence and economic power and can be very useful to Ghana socio-economic development.

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of DIWOF CLUB is to provide a platform for women with experience and opportunities or address the challenges faced by women leaving in the Diaspora and remigrating to Ghana

To create a sense of cooperation, integration and unity among our members.

To bring together actors with diverse expertise and strengths from the diaspora
To learn from each other experience
To motivate people to participate in programs that facilitate the development of their communities.
Building Capacity and Confidence

DIWOF CLUB objectives and priorities are as follows:

Promoting women’s active and healthy life style in women
Partnering with local and community women’s organizations, groups and leaders to ensure that their ventures have the resources and skills to succeed

Establishing alliances, networks and relationships with agencies and grant making organizations to advocate for the promotion and protection of women’s rights.
Supporting grass roots organizations capacity development and women’s empowerment
